Wanna give a special shout out to the fans and staff from Animazement. Had another fantastic time in Durham, North Carolina recently. My dubbing panel was held twice and was standing room only. In fact, all of the panels were super packed due to a stellar guest lineup and again, a fantastic community of fans. All of you rock, bigtime! {nl}{nl}I’ve got some new roles but I can’t announce them juuuuuuuuust yet: one on a lesser known show, and another on a very popular fan favorite that’s been getting buzz recently. So just hang tight folks. I’ll spill the beans as soon as I’m given the thumbs up.{nl}{nl}In the meantime, I’m headed back to Dallas this week to record on some new shows at Funimation as well as be a return guest at A-kon. In addition to the usual slew of panels, signings, I am also hosting cosplay on Saturday night. Its always a blast, considering A-kon is the nation’s oldest anime convention. It was the first anime con I attended as a fan, and my first as an industry guest. Hope so see ya there in Big D!

Aizen, my character on “Bleach”, has returned in a big way. Make sure to check out this Saturday’s episode on Cartoon Network’s Adult Swim. {nl}{nl}If you’re more of a morning person, check out “Blue Dragon” on Cartoon Network’s Toonami lineup. I voice a fun, loud-mouthed military braggart named Legolas. No relation to the elf dude from “Lord of the Rings”.

Akira Toriyama’s “Blue Dragon” series debuts on Cartoon Network this Saturday at 9am eastern/pacific. (they had a sneak preview this past weekend) You’ll be able to hear me next month or so, starting with episode 5 as Legalas (looks like DBZ’s Mr. Satan), and Gilliam in episode 10-11. Feels pretty cool to be part of the voice cast on another of Toriyama’s creations.{nl}{nl}Also this weekend, I’ll be returning again to Minneapolis for Anime Detour. They’ve actually SOLD OUT in preregistration, so unfortunately the random public won’t be able to just show up and buy a badge. But if ya paid already to get in, we’ll be having a blast for sure. Detour is one of my all time favorite cons.{nl}

The past month I’ve been recording numerous roles on numerous shows. The latest to add to my resume are Hiwatari for “Buso Renkin”, Ippei, Asai and Lohmeyer on “Honey and Clover”, and a gazillion bits all over “Lucky Star”. I’ve got some other shows coming down the pike that I’ll hopefully get to announce soon.{nl}{nl}I recently recorded a part for an upcoming 3D CG animated short called “Magnum Farce” (a Clint Eastwood/Dirty Harry parody, geared towards adults). I am voicing a sniper character who is very over-the-top. It will hopefully be completed early this summer and will be making the rounds on the film festival circuit. The producer, Ken Mora, hopes the short will generate enough interest in greenlighting a full fledged feature film. Stay tuned for a link to the “Magnum Farce” official MySpace page!

A first year con in Denver, Colorado called Anime Wasabi is happening this weekend. I’ll be on hand to do my Dubbing 101 panel, judge cosplay, and more shenanigans. For more info, clickHERE.{nl}{nl}A heads up to those who plan on attending Anime Detour in Minneapolis, Minnesota next month. Through preregistration, they have already reached their maximum capacity for attendance, which is 3000 attendees. This means, unless you preregistered, you won’t be able to just show up and buy a badge to get in. Its an unfortunate situation, but due to fire code, the limit has to be strictly enforced. This is particularly important to know if you’re traveling from long distances. {nl}{nl}As far as new projects go, you can hear me as Kiba and as an giant Orochi snake called Manda, on “Naruto: Ultimate Ninja 3″ for Playstation 2. It should be hitting shelves next week.
