This past month has been chock full of recording on numerous video games, including “DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES” (I voicematch Carlos Solis, the husband of Gabrielle). Continuing to audition for many projects and having a blast.{nl}Next up appearance-wise is ANIMEFEST, Labor Day weekend in Dallas. I’ll be emceeing the opening ceremonies, cosplay, and concert, plus I’ll be a guest alongside fellow VAs’ Carrie Savage, Greg Ayres, Jamie McGonigal, Chris Cason, and Monica Rial.{nl}Make sure to click the link on the left hand side for the latest episodes of The Big Bald Broadcast…geeky entertainment MP3 goodness abounds.

Well, the title says it all. Sure, the big con this weekend is Otakon, but I got invited to a much smaller, though well respected one in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, called Anime Iowa. Fellow VA guests include Greg Ayres, Rob Mungle, and Carrie Savage.{nl}I’ll be doing my “Dubbing 101″ panel on Saturday at 2pm. Next con is in just a few weeks…..Animefest in Dallas!

I’ve been getting a tremendous amount of positive feedback and support regarding my performance as Kiba on “Naruto”, so many thanks. Kiba steps into the limelight this Saturday on Cartoon Network, as he is matched against Naruto in the Chuunin Exams.{nl}Atari unleashes “Super Dragonball Z” onto PS2 this week, featuring an exclusive unlockable cyborg Frieza designed by Akira Toriyama. I’m reprising my role as Gohan for it (though they misspelled my name in the credits, DOH!). {nl}I have a four page interview in the August issue of “Beckett Anime and Manga” magazine, conducted by webmaster, Otherworld Steve. Should be on newsstands now. A bunch of Funi VAs are signing at the Funimation booth in the Dealer’s Room throughout on Saturday. Vic Mignogna, Colleen Clinkenbeard, Laura Bailey, Troy Baker, and Travis Willingham are scheduled…..I’ll be signing from 5p to 6p. Then after a quick dinner, I’ll head upstairs for the Naruto VA panel at 6:30pm.{nl}{nl}Monday, I’ll be attending the screening of the “Fullmetal Alchemist” movie dub at noon. Then everyone can watch me sweat in a suit as cohost of the cosplay Monday evening. Having a blast so far and hope to see you there!

[b]“Azumi”[/b]- I just finished recording the character of Kanbei on the dub of this live action samurai film. Its directed by Richard Epcar (Batou on “Ghost in the Shell”) and will probably be out on DVD later this year. This was my first time working with Richard and it was a blast. {nl}{nl}[b]“Dragonball Z: Budokai Tekaichi 2″[/b]- Headed to Dallas to record as the Narrator, Gohan, and Pikkon over at Chris Sabat’s (Vegeta/Piccolo) pimped out recording studios, Okratron 5000.
