New projects out there with my voice tucked inside. I voice a “basketballer” and “geek zombies” in LOLLIPOP CHAINSAW. This one is VERY much for the grownups, just fyi. If you have an Xbox or PS3, you can hear me as Iron Man, Silver Surfer, and Odin in MARVEL PINBALL: THE AVENGERS CHRONICLES. Lastly, a career achievement…..one I have waited most of my life for: to voice in a major animated cartoon.
Over two years ago, I recorded for AVENGERS: EARTH’S MIGHTIEST HEROES, and this summer on Disney XD, you’ll hear me on a couple episodes as Super Skrull. Now, Marvel did announce they aren’t renewing the show for a third season, so I’m not sure if Disney will air the rest of season 2…but I’m fairly certain they’ll end up on video or Netflix eventually at least. Words cannot describe how awesome I feel to have gotten to this moment in my career. I’m letting the cat out of the bag a bit early simply because the episode has aired already in Australia. Voicing with the cast on a domestic animated project is simply the most fun ever in the booth, getting to play off each other’s performances and watch the magic happen. Working these sessions proved to me that this was not only what I hoped it would be, but also everything I want to continue to strive for. Truly blessed to share these moments with you guys.

This weekend, I’m heading back to Texas. This time to Houston for DELTA H con. When people hear I am traveling to the south in the summertime, they cringe at the thought of heat plus humidity. I do, too. Trust me. I GREW UP in that, being as I was originally in Dallas most of my life. Luckily, conventions are indoor events. Here’s my panel schedule:
FRIDAY
4p Opening Ceremonies
8p Guest Autographs
11p Dragonball Evolution roast
SATURDAY
12p Video Game Voice Acting workshop
8p Guest autographs
SUNDAY
12p Guest autographs
1P Dubbing workshop (I have insane dialog that volunteers will attempt to lip sync with random silent anime clips)

Also, a heads up for Houston anime fans:
DELTA H con, which takes place June 15-17, needs to fill hotel rooms in order to secure the venue and keep costs for attendees low. In fact, if you book a room between now and June 11 at the Crown Plaza, you get the con rate of $79 and get a FREE 3-day badge. You’ll need to book for two nights, Friday and Saturday, but grab a few friends and cut your costs even more. DELTA H has been around for a few years and this is their first event at a hotel. I’m locked in as a guest, so I hope to see everyone there!

Heading back to Eau Claire, Wisconsin this weekend for NO BRAND CON. Quinton Flynn and Chris Cason will also be on hand. We will probably try to sneak away at some point to see “The Avengers”, hehehe. Meanwhile, here is my panel schedule:
(3pm Friday) Dragonball Z with Kyle and Chris – The voice actors behind Teen Gohan and Mr. Popo share their stories and answer your questions about one of the most beloved, testosterone-filled shows of all time!
(10pm Friday) Dragonball Evolution Roast – Kyle Hebert. Dragonball Evolution. A roast. Need we say more? Come on over to the No Mercy Room and tear into one of the, uh… finest anime-to-live-action adaptations around.
(11am Saturday) Video Game Voice Acting Workshop – Video game voice-acting veteran Kyle Hebert imparts his wisdom to you, the humble con-goer. Activities include, but are not limited to, mastering the art of battle sounds and power-up yells, and practicing game dialogue in a mock voice acting session.
(2pm Saturday) Voice Actor Q&A – We’ve assembled all three of our voice actor guests in one convenient location to answer your questions. You’re welcome!
(3pm Saturday) Voice Actor Autograph Session – Need something signed? Here’s your chance! Chris Cason, Quinton Flynn, and Kyle Hebert will be on hand to autograph you stuff!
